Will an internal 60gb Toshiba MK6025GAS hard drive that is listed as PC work on a Mac? How about firm wear?
The internal hard drive im my Power Book G4 has failed in what looks like a common way. See:

The only listing of a replacement I can find is stated as being for PC notebook:

Toshiba technical support have told me that the hard ware is the same but Apple sometimes install firm wear on hard drives before installing them so there may be an issue with installing a direct replacement drive and to check with apple. Apple support is £35 a phone call though for an answer to a simple question!

I believe it will work given the firmware is updated for the OS you are intending to use with your Powerbook G4.
