Apple Patents Laptop Docking Station

A 2006 patent application has been published detailing Apple’s idea for an iMac-like laptop docking station. The vertical docking station looks to be similar in appearance to the popular iMac, with a slot in the side to house a laptop. A form factor such as this would utilize less desk space and streamline a users docking setup. The downside would be a display that is presumably only meant to be used with compatible laptops. Touch Screen iMac

Have you always wanted a touch screen iMac? Now you can. Troll Touch has announced an update to their line of touch screen computers to include the new iMacs from Apple. Pricing for the modified iMacs starts at $2,499 for the 20″ model and will set you back $3,899 for the 24″ Core 2 Extreme model. While not a good fit for most consumers, the product could be a good fit for kiosk based businesses.
